I believe the best pediatric care is built through relationships that grow over time. When I truly know a child and their family, I can recognize subtle changes, celebrate milestones more fully, anticipate challenges before they become problems, and partner with parents to help children thrive.

Parents don’t simply need someone to diagnose illness. They need someone they trust to walk beside them through every stage of childhood. That is the kind of pediatrician I have always aspired to be.

Originally from Venezuela, I earned my medical degree and began my pediatric training at the Universidad Central de Venezuela before continuing my pediatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, the primary teaching hospital for the University of Miami. Training and practicing medicine in two countries gave me the privilege of caring for children from many different cultures and backgrounds, reinforcing my belief that exceptional pediatric care combines scientific excellence with genuine human connection.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children from their very first hours of life through adolescence. Some of my greatest joy comes from supporting families during the newborn years — a season filled with excitement, uncertainty, and countless questions. Whether we’re discussing feeding, sleep, vaccines, development, or simply helping parents feel more confident, I want every family to know they never have to navigate childhood alone.

As both a pediatrician and the mother of two children, Camila and Santiago, I understand firsthand that parenting is one of life’s greatest joys — and one of its greatest responsibilities. Experiencing medicine from both sides of the exam room has made me an even better listener, a more compassionate physician, and a stronger advocate for the families I serve.

What Families Can Expect

Families often describe my approach as calm, thoughtful, and collaborative.

I believe parents know their children better than anyone. My role is to combine your understanding of your child with my medical training so we can make the best decisions together.

I want every visit to feel like a conversation — not a rushed appointment. My hope is that every family leaves our office feeling more informed, more confident, and more supported than when they arrived.

What drew me to Ollie was the opportunity to practice medicine the way I always imagined it could be.

Traditional pediatric practices often force physicians to move quickly from one patient to the next. Concierge pediatrics gives me something much more valuable — time. Time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, understand the whole child, and build meaningful relationships with families over many years.

At Ollie, we don’t just focus on treating illness. We focus on prevention, development, nutrition, emotional well-being, and partnering with parents before small concerns become bigger challenges.

Beyond the White Coat

One of the most meaningful experiences of my life took place during my pediatric training in Venezuela, when I spent three months living in Kamarata, a remote Indigenous village deep in the Venezuelan Amazon, accessible only by small airplane or canoe.

Working alongside the local community, I cared for newborns, children, and families, assisted with deliveries, and learned that great medicine begins with listening. Despite our different languages, traditions, and ways of life, I discovered that every parent wants the same thing — to help their child grow up healthy, safe, and loved.

That experience profoundly shaped the physician I am today. It taught me to approach every family with curiosity, humility, and deep respect for their unique story.
